“It’s a Great Day at the Y!”
I love for the crowd to get involved in events and activities, so I was charmed to hear families in the lobby of the Kraft Family YMCA asking, “what’s all the hoopla?” Great humor and sense of timing, y’all! Our compact, merry band of hoopers were crowd pleasers with their multi-hoop performances. They were out of breath because the momentum of five heavier hoops nearly lifted them off the ground. The lemonade stand was a big hit, once again, and makes me happy every time I think of my husband and our son putting it together. Monica Wyrick, Peggy Noodle’s talented illustrator, created the lemonade sign, and makes the ade all the sweeter.
