If you’re a fan of The Hunger Games, then maybe you’re excited about the movie coming out … like me! I used to work for a performing arts theatre in Raleigh, North Carolina, where Evan Rachel Wood’s father is the Executive and Artistic Director (his name is Ira David Wood III, and he’s famous for his long-running perennial role as Ebenezer Scrooge). Tons of young actors have made their way from the hallowed stage at Theatre In The Park to Hollywood and Broadway … and last night I ran into one of our budding young stars at the Durham Performing Arts Center.
Dakota Hood plays the District 10 Tribute Girl in The Hunger Games. She was always a fun kid, but she had grown into a really lovely, interesting young woman. I hope she goes far (though, I have no doubt that she’ll be a success)!
