Hula Hoops have made a huge comeback in the last few years, particularly for exercising!

According to the DailySpark.com, and reporting on research done by the Exercise and Health Program at the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse, “hula hooping expended similar calorie rates and raised heart rates similar to cardio kickboxing, step aerobics and boot camp classes … [and]one thing is for certain, when we have fun doing an activity, we are more likely to participate in it.”

Hula hooping for fitness works many of the core muscles in your body, which are basically the link from the upper part of your body to the lower part. It’s a muscular system that provides the force to stabilize and move body segments.
